AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-EIGHT OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-SEVEN HUNDRED AND ELEVEN, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, RELATIVE TO THE PHILIPPINE HEALTH SERVICE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

Section 1. Section nine hundred and sixty-eight of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Administrative Code, is hereby amended to read as follows :

"Section 968. Except as provided in the foregoing section, a vacancy in any grade in the commissioned service shall be filled by promotion from the grade next below that of the position in question. All promotions to such vacancies shall be made fifty per cent by seniority and fifty per cent by selection."

Section 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.ℒαwρhi৷
