[ Act No. 3088, March 16, 1923 ]

AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION TWO OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE, CONCERNING THE READJUSTMENT OF SALARIES OF PROVINCIAL OFFICIALS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

Section 1. Section two of Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred twenty-nine is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Section 2. In order to carry out the purposes of this Act, the Secretary of the Interior shall, beginning with the year nineteen hundred twenty-four and for each period of five consecutive years after said date, order a readjustment made of the salaries of the provincial officials on the basis of the rules established in this Act."

Section 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.ℒαwρhi৷
