[ Act No. 2667., November 18, 1916 ]

AN ACT ADOPTING AN UNIFORM ENACTING CLAUSE FOR THE ACTS AND AN UNIFORM RESOLVING CLAUSE FOR THE JOINT RESOLUTIONS PASSED BY THE PHILIPPINE LEGISLATURE.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:

Section 1. The enacting clause of all Acts hereafter passed by the Philippine Legislature shall be conceived in the following terms: "Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:" (El Senado y la Cdmara de Representantes de Filipinas constituidos en Legislatura y por autoridad de la misma decretan:).

Section 2. The resolving clause of all Joint Resolutions hereafter passed by the Philippine Legislature shall be conceived in the following terms: "Be it resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:" (El Senado y la Cdmara de Representantes de Filipinas constituidos en Legislatura y por autoridad de la misma resuelven:).

Section 3. The enacting clause, as herein prescribed, shall be written before the whole body of the Act, and the resolving clause shall be written before the whole body of the Joint Resolution, and neither shall be repeated in each section of the Act or Resolution.

Section 4. Section six of Act Numbered Twenty-six hundred and fifty-seven, entitled "An Act constituting an Administrative Code," is hereby repealed.ℒαwρhi৷

Section 5. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
