AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TEN THOUSAND PESOS FOR A PHILIPPINE EXHIBIT AT THE TAIPEH, FORMOSA, EXHIBITION.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:

Section 1. The sum of ten thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of providing for a Philippine exhibit at the exposition to be held at Taipeh, Formosa, April tenth to May ninth, nineteen hundred and sixteen, under the auspices of the Government of Formosa; and the Governor-General is hereby authorized to take such steps as' may be necessary to accomplish the purposes of this Act and to designate' and fix the salaries of the necessary personnel: Provided, That not more than three persons shall be designated for duty in Formosa and that they shall be selected, if possible, from the personnel that has been on duty with the Philippine Exhibit at the Panama-Pacific Exposition.

Section 2. The Governor-General shall present to the Legislature, within the first fifteen days of the session immediately following the Taipeh Exposition, a detailed report of the exhibition above provided for, setting forth all moneys received and disbursements made on account of the Philippine exhibit.ℒαwρhi৷

Section 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
