AN ACT MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CERTAIN EXPENSES OF A COMMISSION COMMITTEE AND AN ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE TO GO TO THE UNITED STATES.
By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:
Section 1. The sum of sixty thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to defray the expenses incidental to the performance of the duties of a Commission Committee or an Assembly Committee, or both, in going to Washington, at the request of the President of the United States. The Commission committee shall consist of two members to be appointed by the President of said Commission.(awÞhi( The Assembly committee shall consist of not more than seven members, to be appointed by the Speaker of said Assembly. The appropriation hereby authorized shall be available for the payment of all expenses of the committees here authorized which the chairman of either of said committees shall certify as necessarily incidental to the performance of the duties imposed.
Section 2. Any balance of the appropriations made by this Act remaining unexpended on January first, nineteen hundred and fifteen, shall be returned to the Insular Treasury.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
