AN ACT AMENDING SECTION FOUR OF ACT NUMBERED TWO THOUSAND AND SIXTY-ONE, ENTITLED "AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SALES AGENCY FOR ARTICLES MANUFACTURED IN THE SCHOOLS IN THE PROVINCES INHABITED BY MOROS AND OTHER NON-CHRISTIAN TRIBES AND BY THE PEOPLE OF SAID PROVINCES, AND APPROPRIATING MONEY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SUITABLE BUILDING FOR THE SAME, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES," BY PROVIDING FOR THE COMPENSATION OF THE SALES AGENT.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

Section 1. Section four of Act Numbered Two thousand and sixty-one, entitled "An Act establishing a Sales Agency for articles manufactured in the schools in the provinces inhabited by Moros and other non-Christian tribes and by the people of said provinces, and appropriating money for the construction of a suitable building for the same, and for other purposes," is hereby amended so as to road as follows:

"Section 4.(awÞhi( The Sales Agent of the Board, acting under the direction of the Board, shall have charge of the operation of the Agency. He shall receive a compensation of seven thousand pesos for the first year beginning February first, nineteen hundred and twelve: Provided, however, That if the gross sales of the Agency during that Lime shall exceed the sum of forty-four thousand pesos, he shall receive, in addition, a percentage to be fixed by the Board on such gross sales in excess of said sum. After the first year he shall receive a salary of four thousand eight hundred pesos annually and a percentage of the gross sales of the Agency, which shall lie fixed by the Board, and which shall accrue as sales are made."
