AN ACT TO EMPOWER THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL TO SUSPEND WITHIN THE MORO PROVINCE ACT NUMBERED SEVENTEEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTY, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO REGULATE THE IMPORTATION, ACQUISITION, POSSESSION, USE, AND TRANSFER OF FIREARMS, AND TO PROHIBIT THE POSSESSION OF SAME EXCEPT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT."

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

Section 1. The Governor-General is hereby empowered to suspend, in his discretion, by proclamation or executive order, the application of all or any of the provisions of Act Numbered Seventeen hundred and eighty, entitled "An Act to regulate the importation, acquisition, possession, use and transfer of firearms, and to prohibit the possession of same except in compliance with the provisions of this Act," within the territory comprised in the Moro Province and, in hip discretion, to restore said Act to force within said province.

Section 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.1aшphi1 

Section 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
