[ Act No. 1571, December 13, 1906 ]
AN ACT AMENDING SECTIONS SEVENTY-FOUR AND ONE HUNDRED SEVEN OF ACT NUMBERED ELEVEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-NINE, AS AMENDED.
By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:
Section 1. Act Numbered Eleven hundred and eighty-nine, entitled "The Internal Revenue Law of Nineteen hundred and four," as amended, is hereby further amended as follows:
(a) By striking out in section seventy-four, as amended by paragraph (c) of section one of Act Numbered Thirteen hundred and thirty-eight, and paragraph (a) of section one of Act Numbered Fourteen hundred and seventeen, the words "nineteen hundred and seven," and inserting in lieu thereof tin- words "nineteen hundred and eight."
(b) By striking out in section one hundred and seven, as amended by paragraph (f) of section one of Act Numbered Thirteen hundred and thirty-eight, and paragraph (b) of section one of Act Numbered Fourteen hundred and seventeen, the words "nineteen hundred and seven," and inserting in lieu thereof the words "nine-teen hundred and eight."
Section 2.1aшphi1 The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws.'" passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.1aшphi1
Section 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
