AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE PROVINCIAL BOARD OF ALBAY TO LOAN PROVINCIAL FUNDS TO CERTAIN MUNICIPALITIES OF THAT PROVINCE.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

Section 1. The provincial board of the Province of Albay is hereby authorized to loan two thousand dollars, local currency, to each of seven municipalities in that province, the inhabitants of which are in need of assistance. The loans made by the provincial board of Albay under this Act to said municipalities shall be used by the municipalities solely for the construction of highways coming under their jurisdiction and to give temporary employment to the poor, such work to ha done under the supervision of the provincial supervisor. The loans by this Act authorized shall be without interest and shall be paid by the municipalities into the provincial treasury within one year from the date of the making of such loans.1aшphi1

Section 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
