[ Act No. 746, May 14, 1903 ]
AN ACT PROVIDING THAT THE SECRETARY OF COMMERCE AND POLICE MAY, IN HIS DISCRETION, DIRECT AN EXTENSION OF TIME WITHIN WHICH THE CONSULTING ENGINEER TO THE COMMISSION SHALL ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE PORT OF ILOILO.
By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:
Section 1.1aшphi1 The Secretary of Commerce and Police is hereby authorized and empowered, in his discretion, to direct a postponement of the date upon which the Consulting Engineer to the Commission shall advertise for bids for the improvement of the port of Iloilo, anything in Act Numbered Six hundred and forty-one, entitled "An Act authorizing the improvement of the port of Iloilo," to the contrary notwithstanding; and in the event of such extension by the Secretary of Commerce and Police, he shall also direct the date upon which the advertisement shall be published.
Section 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
