AN ACT AMENDING SECTION SIXTY-FOUR OF ACT NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-THREE, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO INCORPORATE THE CITY OF MANILA," BY EXTENDING THE TIME WITHIN WHICH PAYMENT OF DELINQUENT FRONTAGE TAXES MAY BE MADE WITHOUT SUFFERING A PENALTY AND INTEREST FOR NONPAYMENT, AND REMITTING PENALTIES AND INTEREST ALREADY INCURRED.
By authority of the President of the United States, be it enacted by the United States Philippine Commission, that:
Section 1. The time within which payment may be made of delinquent frontage taxes for the years eighteen hundred and ninety-nine and nineteen hundred without suffering the penalty and interest for nonpayment provided in section sixty-four of Act Numbered One hundred and eighty-three, is hereby extended to March first, nineteen hundred and two, and all penalties and interest heretofore incurred are remitted.1aшphi1
Section 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
Section 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
