[ Act No. 312, December 04, 1901 ]

AN ACT PROVIDING THAT ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS OF FUNDS APPROPRIATED FOR THE INSULAR PURCHASING AGENT BY ACT NUMBERED TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR SHALL BE PAYABLE IN CURRENCY OF THE UNITED STATES INSTEAD OF IN INSULAR CURRENCY.

By authority of the President of the United States, be it enacted by the United States Philippine Commission, that:

Section 1. The sum of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars appropriated by section one of Act Numbered Two hundred and sixty-four, for the Insular Purchasing Agent, for the purchase of supplies, including coal, lumber, and other supplies, purchased during the third quarter of the year nineteen hundred and one, is hereby made payable in money of the United States instead of in insular currency, anything in said Act Numbered Two hundred and sixty-four to the contrary not withstanding.

Section 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this appropriation bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.1aшphi1

Section 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
