BY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS‑
A PROCLAMATION.

Whereas the second session of the Second Philippine Legislature will, by operation of law, terminate on February first, nineteen hundred and twelve; and

Whereas there have been but eighty-six days in the present session, exclusive of Sundays and holidays, four working days having been lost in the Christmas recess; and

Whereas certain important matters are still to be considered :

Now, therefore, I, W. Cameron Forbes, Governor-General of the Philippine Islands, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section seven of the Act of Congress dated July first, nineteen hundred and two, do hereby order that a special session of the Philippine Legislature be convened in the city of Manila on the second day of February, nineteen hundred and twelve, said session to endure from February second to February sixth, exclusive of Sunday, February fourth, to consider only those bills which have been passed by one house of the Legislature but which have not yet been approved by the other, and such other matters as may be submitted hereafter from time to time by executive message before the closing of the special session herein provided for.
