DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 16 SEPTEMBER 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PIDDIG, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, on 16 September 2026, Wednesday, the Municipality of Piddig, Province of Ilocos Norte will commemorate the Basi Revolt of 1807;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Piddig be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Wednesday, 16 September 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Piddig, Province of Ilocos Norte.
