DECLARING THURSDAY, 20 AUGUST 2026, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ESPERANZA, PROVINCE OF MASBATE

WHEREAS, on 20 August 2026, Thursday, the Municipality of Esperanza, Province of Masbate will mark the celebration of the Lilas Festival;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Esperanza be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Thursday, 20 August 2026, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Esperanza, Province of Masbate.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
