DECLARING 06 - 08 MAY 2026 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAYS IN THE CITY OF CEBU AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF CORDOVA, PROVINCE OF CEBU

WHEREAS, the 48th ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings will be held in Cebu, Philippines;

WHEREAS, Mactan Island in Cebu consisting of the City of Lapu-Lapu and the Municipality of Cordova, Province of Cebu, will host the 48th ASEAN delegates;

WHEREAS, in order to alleviate traffic an to allow the host country to secure the safety of participants in the said event, it is necessary to declare 06-08 May 2026 as special (non-working) days in the City of Lapu-Lapu and the Municipality of Cordova, Province of Cebu

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RALPH G. RECTO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare 06-08 May 2026, as special (non-working) days in the city of Lapu-Lapu and the municipality of Cordova, Province of Cebu.
