DECLARING MONDAY, 02 APRIL 2018, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATAAN

WHEREAS, Monday, 02 April 2018, marks the celebration of the birth anniversary of Francisco "Balagtas" Baltazar, a prominent Filipino poet and orator;

WHEREAS, Francisco ''Balagtas" Baltazar, a notable Tagalog writer, married a maiden from Orion, Bataan. resided in the town of Orion, became productive in his art form, and died in the same town in 1862; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Bataan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies,

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 02 April 2018, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Bataan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
