MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ PROCLAMATION NO. 252, July 10, 2017 ] DECLARING SATURDAY, 22 JULY 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS WHEREAS, on Saturday, 22 July 2017, the City of General Santos marks the celebration of its Indigenous Peoples 3rd Blaan Day; and WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of General Santos, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Saturday, 22 July 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the City of General Santos.
