DECLARING TUESDAY, 18 FEBRUARY 2014, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BAYAWAN, NEGROS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, the City of Bayawan will be celebrating the Tawo-Tawo Festival Week on the third week of February;

WHEREAS, the Tawo-Tawo Festival reflects the culture of the City of Bayawan being a rice granary of the southern part of the Province of Negros Oriental;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Bayawan celebrate and participate in the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod requested that 18 February 2014 be declared as a special non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Tuesday, 18 February 2014, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Bayawan.ℒαwρhi৷
