DECLARING SATURDAY, 27 APRIL 2013, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LAPU-LAPU

WHEREAS, Saturday, 27 April 2013, marks the celebration of the Kadaugan sa Mactan, a cultural and historical event in the City of Lapu-Lapu;

WHEREAS, the Battle of Mactan is among the significant events in Philippine history and serves as testimony to the rich cultural and historical heritage of the Filipinos; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lapu-Lapu be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.ᇈWᑭHIL

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Saturday, 27 April 2013, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Lapu-Lapu.ℒαwρhi৷
