DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 17, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LAPU-LAPU
WHEREAS, Thursday, June 17, 2010, the City of Lapu-Lapu marks the celebration of its Charter Day anniversary;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lapu-Lapu be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, LEANDRO R. MENDOZA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, June 17, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the City of Lapu-Lapu.
