DECLARING WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MEYCAUAYAN

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9356 dated December 10, 2006, provided for the conversion of the Municipality of Meycauayan into a component city to be known as the City of Meycauayan;

WHEREAS, Wednesday, December 10, 2008, marks the Charter Day anniversary of the City of Meycauayan;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Meycauayan, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.ℒαwρhi৷

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, December 10, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the City of Meycauayan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
