MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 1287, May 17, 2007 ] DECLARING SATURDAY, MAY 19, 2007 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN BUTUAN CITY WHEREAS, Saturday, May 19, 2007, the City of Butuan celebrates Balangay Festival honoring the feast day of its patron saint, St. Joseph; WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Butuan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R.
