[ Proclamation No. 996, February 14, 2006 ]

DECLARING SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TARLAC

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 940 dated October 27, 2005 converted the City of Tarlac from a component city into a highly urbanized city;

WHEREAS, said proclamation shall take effect upon ratification in a plebiscite by the qualified voters therein; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that qualified voters of the City of Tarlac be given full opportunity to participate in the said plebiscite.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Saturday, February 18, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the City of Tarlac.1aшphi1
