DECLARING THE FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER AS BUSINESS EDUCATION WEEK

WHEREAS, the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB), is an organization of deans, chairs, coordinators and heads of the different business schools in the Philippines;

WHEREAS, the primary objectives of the PCDEB is to upgrade business education to respond to changes brought about by the dynamic environment of business; to continuously improve the quality of institution in business educations to make business education play an important role in the building and improvement of the Country's economy to develop professionalism among business educators; and to organize and encourage scientific research in the area of global business

WHEREAS, the PCDEB during these past years pioneered in recognizing outstanding business educators working closely with companies manifesting a high level of social responsibility, and corporate citizenship;

WHEREAS, the PCDEB had been involved in the education of our youth the area of responsible citizenship and good governance.1aшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the first week of December as Business Education Week.ℒαwρhi৷
