[ Proclamation No. 1150, October 4, 2006 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF KORONADAL, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8803 dated August 16, 2000, provided for the conversion of the Municipality of Koronadal into a component city to be known as the City of Koronadal and was ratified on October 8, 2000;

WHEREAS, Sunday, October 8, 2006, marks the 6th Charter Day anniversary of the City of Koronadal;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Koronadal to celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that Monday, October 9, 2006 be declared as special (non-working) day instead of October 8, 2006, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.1aшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, October 9, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the City of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
