DECLARING MONDAY, JULY 17, 2006 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN OZAMIZ CITY

WHEREAS, Sunday, July 16, 2006, marks the Charter Day Anniversary of Ozamiz City;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of Ozamiz City celebrate the occasion, the Office of the City Council, Ozamiz City, requested that Monday, July 17, 2006 be declared as special (non-working) day instead of July 16, 2006, which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of Ozamiz City be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.1aшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, July 17, 2006 as special (non-working) day in Ozamiz City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
