DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 20, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LIPA

WHEREAS, the City of Lipa was made a chartered city on June 20 1947, by virtue of Republic Act No. 162;

WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 20, 2006, marks the 59th foundation anniversary of the City of Lipa;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lipa be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOAQUIN C. LAGONERA, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 20, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the City , of Lipa.1aшphi1
