DECLARING FRIDAY, JUNE 23, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF MASBATE

WHEREAS, Friday, June 23, 2006, marks the celebration of the Kasadyaan sa Dagat Festival and the feast day of St. John the Baptist in the Province of Masbate;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Masbate be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.1aшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, June 23, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Masbate.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
