DECLARING MONDAY, JUNE 19, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LAOAG

WHEREAS, the City of Laoag was made a chartered city on June 19, 1965, by virtue of Republic Act No. 4584;

WHEREAS, Monday, June 19, 2006, marks the charter anniversary of the City of Laoag;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Laoag be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.1aшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday; June 19, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the City of Laoag.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
