DECLARING FRIDAY, APRIL 21, 2006, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CALAMBA, PROVINCE OF LAGUNA

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9019 dated March 3, 2001, provides for the conversion of the Municipality of Calamba, Laguna into a component city to be known as the City of Calamba;

WHEREAS, the City of Calamba will be celebrating its 5th year anniversary as a city on April 21, 2006;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the residents of the City of Calamba, Province of Laguna be given full opportunity to participate in the various activities lined-up for the occasion.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, April 21, 2006, as special (non-working) day in the City of Calamba, Province of Laguna.ℒαwρhi৷
