MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ PROCLAMATION NO. 765, January 24, 2005 ] CREATING AND DESIGNATING A BUILDING, KNOWN AS JY SQUARE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) CENTER, WHICH WAS ESTABLISHED ON SEVERAL PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED ALONG SALINAS DRIVE, LAHUG, CEBU CITY, AS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BUILDING PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748 Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by Republic Act No. 8748, and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create and designate as Information Technology Building, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolution Nos. 00-411 and 04-155 dated 29 December 2000 and 26 May 2004, respectively, of the PEZA Board of Directors, the JY SQUARE IT CENTER, which was established on several parcels of land on the private domain, located along Salinas Drive, Lahug, Cebu City, with an area of EIGHT THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED (8,800) SQUARE METERS, more or less, as defined by the following technical descriptions: Lot 2-C-1 Psd-271949 TCT No. 69481 A parcel of land (Lot 2-C-1, of the subdivision plan (LRC) Psd-271949, being a portion of Lot 2-C, (LRC) Psd-268773, L.R.C.
