DECLARING TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY

WHEREAS, Republic Act. No. 8973 dated November 7, 2000, which provides for the creation of the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay from the Province of Zamboanga del Sur was ratified on February 24, 2001;

WHEREAS, Tuesday, February 24, 2004, marks the 3rd Charter Day anniversary of the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their province’s history with appropriate ceremonies.ᇈWᑭHIL

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, February 24, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay in commemoration of the "Araw ng Zamboanga Sibugay".
