PROCLAMATION NO. 500 DECLARING THURSDAY, JANUARY 15, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SAN PABLO

WHEREAS, Thursday, January 15, 2004 marks the celebration in the city of San Pablo of the Feast Day of Saint Paul, the First Helmet, the patron saint of the City;

WHEREAS, coinciding with the feast is the holding of the Annual Coconut Festival (a local Madri Gras) which is now on its 8th year and already recognized by the Department of Tourism and the Historical Institute;

WHEREAS, it is proper that the people of the City of San Pablo be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.ℒαwρhi৷

NOW, THEREFORE , I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, January 15, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the City of San Pablo.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
