AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 332 DATED JUNE 2000, WHICH DECLARED A CERTAIN PORTION OF LAND WITHIN THE CAMP RIEGO DE DIOS MILITARY RESERVATION SITUATED IN BARANGAY TRES CRUCES AND PUNTA, MUNICIPALITY OF TANZA, PROVINCE OF CAVITE OPEN FOR DISPOSITION FOR THE AFP OFF-BASE HOUSING PROGRAM BY MODIFYING ITS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND THE MODE OF DISPOSITION THEREOF FROM THAT UNDER REPUBLIC ACT NO. 730 TO THAT PROVIDED BY ACT NO. 1120 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "THE FRIAR LANDS ACT" DATED 26 APRIL 1904, AS AMENDED
Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 332 dated 20 June 2000, which excluded a certain portion of land from the operation of Proclamation No. 81 dated 31 August 1936 otherwise known as of "Camp Riego de Dios Military Reservation" situated in Barangays Tres Cruces and Punta, Municipality of Tanza, Province of Cavite and declared the same open for disposition for the AFP Off-Base Housing Program by modifying its technical description and the mode of disposition thereof from that under Republic Act No. 730 to that provided by Act 1120 otherwise known as the Friar Lands Act dated 26 April 1904, as amended, subject to private rights, if any there be, which parcel of land is now more particularly described as:

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot 2058-C, Fls-987 as shown on plan, Rel-04-001751), situated in the Barangay of Tres Cruces and Punta, Municipality of Tanza, Province of Cavite. Bounded on the N., & NE., along lines 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17 by Lot 2058-B, Fls-987 (Existing Road), on the SE., along line 17-18 by Lot 2059-C, Fls-987, Rel-04-001751; on the SW., & SE., along lines 18-19-20-21-22-23-24-25-26-27-28-29-30 by River and beyond by Lot 2066 & Lot 2068, both of Sta. Cruz de Malabon Estate; on the W., along line 30-1 by Lot 2069-NEW-C, Fls-987, Sta. Cruz de Malabon Estate.

Except in favor of the Government for any of its branches or institution or legally constituted banking corporation, lands disposed of under this proclamation shall not be subject to encumbrance or alienation before ten (10) years after the date of the issuance of the transfer of certificate of title in case of sale, or execution of contract in case of lease; nor shall they become liable to the satisfaction of any debt contracted prior to the expiration of said period, but the improvement on the land may be mortgaged to qualified persons, associations or corporations.
