DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11, 2003, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SAGAY, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8192 converting the Municipality of Sagay into a component city of the Province of Negros Occidental, was signed on June 11, 1996;

WHEREAS, Wednesday, June 11, 2003, marks the 7th Charter Day anniversary of the City of Sagay;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Sagay be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city's history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW,  THEREFORE,  I,  ALBERTO G. ROMULO, by order of  Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, June 11, 2003, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Sagay, Province of Negros Occidental.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
