DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11, 2003,AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF RIZAL

WHEREAS, the Province of Rizal was formally established on June 11, 1901;

WHEREAS, Wednesday, June 11, 2003, marks the 102nd Foundation Day anniversary of the Province of Rizal;

WHEREAS, the people of the Province of Rizal should be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with fitting ceremonies and programs that will recall their glorious past and rekindle in them deep nationalistic sentiments necessary for the task of nation-building;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, June 11, 2003, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Rizal.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
