RESERVING A PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARANGAY CANJULAO, CITY OF LAPU-LAPU, ISLAND OF MACTAN, PROVINCE OF CEBU FOR URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIALIZED HOUSING SITE PURPOSES
Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby reserved a parcel of land of the public domain for urban development and socialized housing site purposes for government employees and urban poor under the administration of the National Housing Authority, subject to private rights, if any there be, and actual survey and delineation on the ground, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:
"A parcel of land of the public domain (portion of Lot 912), Psc-11, Opon Cadastre, situated in Barangay Canjulao, City of Lapu-Lapu, Island of Mactan, Province of Cebu. Beginning at a point marked "1" on the map being S. 41 deg. 32' W., 2149.92 meters from BLLM # 3, Opon Cad. Bounded on the SW., along line 1-2 by Cebu Harbor; on the NW.; along line 2-3 by Fls-07-05-200326 (Serapio Berdin); -on the NW., SW., and SE., along lines 3-4-5-6-7 by Lot 7019-A, Csd-07-002729, equivalent to Lot 7021, Opon Cad. Accordingly, the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources is hereby authorized to issue a Special Patent covering the area herein reserved in favor of the National Housing Authority.
An Inter-Agency Committee, composed of representatives from the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) as Chair, City Government of Lapu-Lapu as Vice Chair, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), National Housing Authority (NHA), Presidential Commission on the Urban Poor (PCUP), and the concerned non-government or people's organization as members, is hereby created to immediately prepare the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of this proclamation.
