NAMING THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY'S OFFICE, PREMIER GUEST HOUSE, MALACANANG PALACE AS THE CORAZON C. AQUINO ROOM

WHEREAS, under Resolution No. 2, dated May 6, 1998, the National Historical Institute proclaimed the Malacaņang Palace as National Historical Landmark;

WHEREAS, every past administration in the country reflects a particular period in our nation's rich history; and

WHEREAS, it is only fitting and proper that Malacaņang Palace, residence and Office of the President of the Philippines, should recognize the historic connection past presidents have with Malacaņang Palace.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby name as Corazon C. Aquino Room the Executive Secretary's Office in the Premier Guest House where she used to work as President from 1986-1992, in recognition of her great service to the nation.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
