PROCLAMATION NO. 264

DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 22, 2000, AS A SPECIAL DAY THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY

WHEREAS, April 22, 2000 falls on a Saturday, between Good Friday and Easter Sunday;

WHEREAS, the said day, April 22, 2000, may be declared a special day without detriment to public service to allow our people uninterrupted opportunity to observe and ponder on the significance of lent.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, April 22, 2000, as a special day throughout the country.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
