DECLARING THURSDAY, MARCH 7, 1996, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BASILAN

WHEREAS, Thursday, March 7, 1996 marks the 22nd Founding Anniversary of the Province of Basilan;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the residents of the Province of Basilan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27 of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Thursday, March 7, 1996, as a special day in the Province of Basilan.1aшphi1
