MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 621, July 28, 1995 ] DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30, 1995, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN SAN JUAN, METRO MANILA WHEREAS, the 99th anniversary of the 釘attle of Pinaglabanan , an important event in our struggle for freedom, falls on August 30, 1995; WHEREAS, said historical event is of special significance to the residents of San Juan, Metro Manila, where it took place; WHEREAS, the people of San Juan should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate the occasion with fitting ceremonies; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS. President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 30, 1995, as a special day in San Juan, Metro Manila.
