DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 12 TO 18, 1993, AS GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WEEK

WHEREAS, efficient government administration depends greatly on the performance and dedication of government officials and employees;

WHEREAS, the National Executive Board and Council of the Philippine Government Employees Association in preparation to the celebration of its 48th Anniversary and 5th Triennial Convention on December 18, 1993, has scheduled a program that will center on Strengthening The Public Workers in Support to National Building – Philippines 2000;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper to focus public attention on the role played by state workers in the social, economic, and political development of the country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from December 12 to 18, 1993, as Government Employees Week under the auspices of the Philippine Government Employees Association and other government employees organizations.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
