AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 1939, DATED JANUARY 22, 1980, WHICH ESTABLISHED CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN FRANCISCO, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN DEL SUR, AS NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMPANY (NDC) RESERVATION FOR AGRICULTURAL PLANTATION

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 1939, dated January 22, 1980, which established the National Development Company (NDC) reservation for agricultural plantation, by excluding therefrom, certain areas for Community Forest Management Project and Mt. Magdiwata Watershed and establishing these areas as Community Forest Management Project and Mt. Magdiwata Watershed Forest Reserve, respectively. These areas are particularly described as follows:

PARCEL I
Community Forest Management Project

Beginning from corner “1” a point on the ground at Longitude 125° 5659.5? and latitude 8° 3312.5?

Thence generally North – Easterly direction about 640 meters straight distance to corner 2, a point on the ground;

Thence generally up-stream North – easterly direction about 1,360 meters straight distance to corner 3, a point on the ground;

Thence generally North – easterly direction about 1,110 meters straight distance to corner 4, a point on the ground;

Thence generally easterly direction about 1,930 meters straight distance to corner 5, a point on the ground;

The area covered by the reservation shall be under the administrative jurisdiction, supervision, and control of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, through its Forest Management Bureau, in coordination with other agencies of the government, with the objective of maintaining its usefulness as a source of water for irrigation, domestic and other forestry purposes.
