DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 1993, AS DON QUINTIN PAREDES DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ABRA

WHEREAS, the 109th birthday of the late Don Quintin Paredes, statesman, jurist, parliamentarian, and illustrious son of Abra, falls on September 9, 1993;

WHEREAS, it is desirable to focus attention on the life of the late Don Quintin Paredes as a fitting tribute to his unselfish efforts;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, September 9, 1993, as Don Quintin Paredes Day in the Province of Abra. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
