DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 6 TO 12 1993, AS “PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT WEEK”

WHEREAS, the Production Management Association of the Philippines (PROMAP) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-stock organization established and committed to promote industrial development through better and efficient management of the production system;

WHEREAS, PROMAP will hold its 1993 Production Management Convention on September 9 and 10, 1993, in Manila, with the theme: “WORLD CLASS MANUFACTURING – A MUST FOR PHILIPPINES 2000”;

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the important role production executive play in the development of our economy;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from September 6 to 12 1993, as “Production Management Week”.
