DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 6 TO 12, 1993 AS “MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK”

WHEREAS, the Philippine Council of Management (PHILCOMAN) is a non-profit, non-government, and non-political federation of professional and technological societies, management development institutions, business enterprises, and professional managers dedicated to the development of management and improvement of management practices in all aspects of Philippine Society;

WHEREAS, PHILCOMAN will hold its 25th Management Congress on September 9 to 10, 1993, in Manila, on the theme “CREATING WORLD CLASS MANAGER FOR PHILIPPINES 2000”;

WHEREAS, there is a need to promote management consciousness in both the public and private sectors to help achieve the development and goals of the nation;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from September 6 to 12, 1993, as “Management Consciousness Week” under the auspices of the Philippine Council of Management and other concerned organizations.ℒαwρhi৷

I call upon all management practitioners, educators and students to give the observance of the week their full support.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
