MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 208, July 22, 1993 ] DECLARING A STATE OF PUBLIC CALAMITY IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare, upon the recommendation of the Chairman, National Disaster Coordinating Council, a state of public calamity in General Santos City which has been severely affected by torrential rains and flash floods. I also hereby authorize the release of TWO MILLION PESOS (P2,000,000.00) chargeable against the Calamity Fund to support the on-going disaster operations being undertaken by the City Disaster Coordinating Council, IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.ℒαwρhi৷ Done in the City of Manila, this 22nd day of July, in the year of Our Lord nineteen hundred and ninety-three.
