[ Proclamation No. 189, June 7, 1993 ]

DECLARING 19 JUNE 1993 AS A SPECIAL WORKING DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL SUR TO BE KNOWN AS “ARAW NG SURIGAO DEL SUR”

WHEREAS, 19 June 1993, Saturday, marks the 33rd Founding Anniversary of the Province of Surigao del Sur;

WHEREAS, the significance of this event should be accorded with fitting recognition; and

WHEREAS, Section 27, Chapter 7, Book I of the Administrative Code of 1987 authorizes the President to proclaim any local special day for a particular date, group or place.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare 19 June 1993, Saturday, as a special working day in the Province of Surigao del Sur to be known as “Araw ng Surigao del Sur”.ℒαwρhi৷

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
