[ Proclamation No. 171, May 3, 1993 ]

AUTHORIZING TAHANAN OUTREACH PROJECTS AND SERVICES, INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

WHEREAS, the Tahanan Outreach Projects and Services, Inc. (TOPS), was earlier authorized under Proclamation No. 869, s. 1992, to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year;

WHEREAS, TOPS will again conduct a national campaign to raise funds that will ultimately benefit underprivileged children and youth; and

WHEREAS, this national fund campaign by TOPS deserves the wholehearted support of all segments of society.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Tahanan Outreach Projects and Services, Inc. to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.
